The stair and its metal railing
A white oak staircase in Glencoe, rebuilt in full. The horizontal metal railing was made by others; we installed it. In Glencoe we have also built two kitchens, a fireplace mantel and a bathroom vanity.
What we built
- A full rebuild of the staircase, in white oak.
- The installation of the horizontal metal railing (made by others).
The detail worth seeing
The white oak treads under the horizontal metal railing: warm wood against thin metal lines.
